HKS air/fuel knock amp

has anyone used this yet? i was thinking about purchasing this to monitor my a/f rather then having the AEM gauge.

It's very expensive. over 2-3x the price of the AEM so they're not really comparable.

The added features of the AFK don't really work for a Greddy turbo rx8. ie the dual A/F monitoring can't be used because you cannot mount o2 sensors for separate housings on the greddy manifold. though it would work well for a tubular top mount manifold. Also, the factory knock sensor for the rx8 is useless so it can't be used to detect knock. Also, I believe the new version now uses a Bosch o2 sensor instead of a NGK.

With that said, I still wish I had one. haha

lmao, i think i'm going to pick one up as my christmas gift. i figured most of the stuff was useless, but i wanted to get it instead of the typical AEM stuff. i'll upload pics, once i get my hands on one.
