Extremely late,

I resolved this issue by replacing the knock sensor from a spare motor I had.
all seems to be fine now

Yes, the cobb does not log knock retard properly. It cannot be used as a tuning aid, and many tuners have inadvertently overridden stock knock control by advancing until knock control cannot retard any more. There is no current workaround.

I realize this is old, but if you're snooping around. Why is this? I would think it does nothing since there is a fuel cut during engine braking.
