I would like to know if it comes anything that would let me program my fuel/timing/PE/ whatever tables by myself... or do I need to get this done via email tunes and it is only an uploader thingy?

What I need is something that enable me to tune as I want.

Yes, if you get the accesstuner software you can change all of those settings yourself.

 

He should also sell his car and get an s1 rx8 though!

Unfortunately the accessPORT does not support the restyled rx8s. All I could think of now is the usual wiring\wallet mayhem that a good standalone ecu is, especially when the stock pcm is retained to do some work.

 

OP, I just realized you have a 2009 R3. The Cobb will not work with your car.
