I pluged in my Canzoomer unit, turn the switch to "on" the car works.

So I tried to tune the unit with the software provided. But I get an error message "can not communicate with the main unit." I tried all the different com ports and nothing.


Does anyone know what the problem is?

 

Try changing the flow control to hardware(in device manager ports(com&lpt)) settings..

I did change it to hardware and no luck. I still get the error message. I tried playing around if other settings and still nothing.

Also the canzoomer unit is blinking an orange color, and when I am in netural and add throttle over 1000rpm a green led lights up.

Has anyone had this problem with their canzoomer units?

 

did you install the software for the cable in addition to the greddy software?

 

^^ I'd start with the cable software as well. You might want to remove/re-install it from your PC to be sure.....

After that...check the cable...try an other if you can borrow one.
(i am assuming you know it's not a USB cable :D )

 

I tried using both the USB cable and the serial cable.

The serial is set to com 1 and the USB is set to com 3. when using the different settings I also made sure to make the changes in the greddy software.

I also upgraded the greddy software to version 1.13
