Even if you borrowed one, it would be useless for the person who loaned it to you. You have to uninstall it to allow it to be passed back to the that said person, and in doing so, it reverts back to the map that was there first - hence uninstalled.

I just need the software drivers out of it (according to the Race installation program), not to install it on my car

you have to supply Cobb with a serial number, my master plan to get around this has apparently failed

Interesting.
I'll try to install it on a "virgin" computer.
I usually, just click "OK", even though the AP is not plugged in and it just keeps going on with the install.

I have updated all requirements but still can not connect to the ECU, what am i doing wrong...

I have noticed it says i need AccessPORT firmware 1.2.8.1 or above

I have done updates and all i got is 1.2.4.1
I have a 2007 MT fed rx8...

Is this my problem...
