Have you ran your car threw a car wash to see if it has stayed on there? Or would it stay on if you clean your car and rub with soap or does it stay?

Tested this out on my front 'M' emblem, and it was as easy as the DIY says... And looks good too.

I'll post some pics this weekend, after I do my trunk emblems. :-)

Ive had a pressure washer right in front of it, and it doesnt peel off. Im glad to hear a lot of people like this thread and have had good success with it. Just curious if it would be a good idea to make it a Sticky thread?

my buddy was trying to paint his silver car white, but the cost would be too high lol but, he sprayed over his side marker in white, and you can still see the light flashing.

There's no way you'd see light through the black. You're better off with the paint that's made for that purpose.

Best and cheapest method to smoke tailights is using LaminX, dont use that spray on VHL(i think its was its called), if u do it wrong you will ruin your taillights and light will not emit through.

used the pressure washer on the car today (low pressure) and it didn't hurt the emblems at all.

I hate how if you plasti-dip your emblems, they dont match the still shiny rotary accents.
And if you plasti dip your accents, you just look retarded lol

Did mine last night. They turned out pretty well. I think I'm going to re-do them with a couple extra coats though...

Just plasti-dipped my emblems, side markers, and rims for fun. They all turned out really well so Ill post some pictures this week. Its raining pretty hard outside and that didn't affect how the plasti stuck at all. I even drove in the rain and it's still on there perfectly. Oh and I got the REVi on finally

Plasti-Dipping Fun

I plasti-dipped everything I could just for fun
Heres the back emblems:
All the emblems were done with two coats, letting dry for about 45 minutes each coat.

I forgot to take a pic of the front emblem, so heres a far away shot when wet sanding my headlights.

Here's what the rims look like after about 3 coats:

Rims and Emblems:

To do the rims all I did was tape off so the plasti wouldn't get on the paint, and then put newspaper behind the rims so the brakes wouldn't get covered. I didn't mask off the tire because it just peels right off after a run with an exacto knife

Be careful when removing the paper from behind because some may stick to the rim and pull off part of your work. This happened to me, but I just touched up afterwards. (There wasn't enough spray to re-mask, and the excess just came off while driving.)

Hope this was helpful!
