^So are you saying I will probably need these spacers since I have the agency power exhaust, or does it have to do with a certain year or what?

It doesn't matter what cat-back you have.
The 2nd resonator is too low for the cross members to be reinstalled.
If you want the cross members reinstalled, then get the spacers or fab a piece yourself.

Have you guys noticed that with the mid-pipe installed, drive-ability improves at lower speeds (less hesitation & more torque, etc)? I asked because I swapped out my MS CAI for a Revi CAI at the same time as I installed the mid-pipe and I don't know how much each is impacting this clear and noticeable improvement.

As far as braces are concerned, are they im[portant enough to worry about and if so, should they be switched out for a more effective after-market solution?

I remember someone from this forum giving me a hard time when I said that I felt less hesitation at lower speeds with my mid-pipe (it was my AP mid-pipe at the time).
I would say that its due to the mid-pipe, not the CAI.

For everyday driving.... I don't think it would be a problem.
Maybe if you do auto-x racing where you do demanding turns constantly.
It'll then be better to have the frame boxed in and not have the car flex in the center due to the exhaust "tunnel".

I always think its a good idea to have extra bracing but that is why I have the carbing underbrace (even though its most likely not very functional). I can not tell you about the hesitation due to the amount of other mods done to the car but I do know its running better..

I am TOTALLY loving this mid-pipe. It sounds great tonally and the performance it has added to my car is definitely improved! One of the best mods I've done, highly recommended.

installed my pipe yesterday man it's a nice piece! Got the CEL 25 after the install. Very impressed with sound and performance. The installed took me a little longer cuz the nuts were hard to take off. All i need now is a good air refresher....

The pitch is lower than the rp super cat, very deep tone throughout the RPM band!

OK - someone has to ask this: What's the point of a midpipe? Is it simply to allow a less restricted flow?

I have a MS CAI and exhaust. I could do without the 'boy racer' sound from the intake. Will a midpipe make this better or worse?

From a performance impact, mid-pipe delivers much more than CAI and cat-back. I was surprised at how much the CAT restricts flow. Mazsports mid-pipe adds only marginally to the sound and it sounds good! Personally, I'm not a fan of the MS CAI as it resonates too much between 4k and 5k -- very annoying on the highway - RB CAI does not not do this.

and btw, sometimes high quality costs more, and that's what this mid pipe is. Top notch.

no, mine is Tripple resonated, I have most of Socal rx8 owners as my witness

a turbo, a pre-silencer, a resonator (the stock turbo xs one) and then another pre-silencer......the entire exhaust system costed me........lets see

550$ + 150....= 700$ for a full turbo-back tripple resonated exhaust.........

how much is your midpipe again?
