twin turbo rx8
Well i aint no mechanic and i searched still.... Why is it that the rx7 and rx8 are both 2 rotors yet the 7 had a twin turbo and the 8 doesn't???

the twin turbo setup used one turbo to produce low end power, while the other used for when the first is out of its efficiency.
the rx-8 doesn't need this because of upgrades such as MazdaManiac's Turbo, or even the greddy. Low end power comes on almost instantly.

The RX7 doesn't have the Siamese center port. They can dedicate one turbo to one rotor on aftermarket twin turbo setups.
Besides the lack of overlap, that siamese center port is part of the reason that there hasn't been a effective exhaust header designed yet.

i see. i wish i knew more about that ****. I mean i read alot but i never really got under a hood to do some serious stuff and i kinda don't wanna **** up my 8 trying to play mechnic. but i def. am going to try and do some things. Thanks
