Video of a lil fire from my pipe :)

So i came home this weekend and got my grubby little mits on my Racing Beat Exhaust that's been here waiting for me.

I won't be long winded becase it's been reviewd on here, and all the reviews are spot on. Racing beat packaged this exhaust beautifully, it was 100% secure and professional.

This whole system is going right behind my Rotary Performance SuperCAT I've had on the car for a few months. Just for fun i made a lil video of the car revving with no exhaust and just the SuperCAT on.... holy crap this thing is loud as ****. To the point of hurting your ears and shaking. Sitting in the car - there is a total "rumble" to the car without the muffler on.

Video clip is attached, its only 10MB or so Enjoy!

Wow it sounded horrible without the exhaust.....man with my midpipe and no exhaust I was shooting rediculous flames out the back end of my car...hell with my current setup I can get 2 to 3 foot flames at redline shifts under heavy load from 2-3....And next time no gay voice intro ....im j/k looks good....where in Texas ya at?

the intro voice is more for my own use -- as I do multiple video clips of different situations and have no way to associcate them wit the file name and stuff.

As I type this im in Magnolia, TX (close to Houston) visiting family for the weekend, but 95% of my time is spent up in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX for work and stuff.

Nice...

Now go get a video of it with the catback on.

Did you have the supercat first? What were your impressions? I just put my RP supercat on and I'm not a fan of the raspy/buzzing that comes out of my car around 4-4.5K RPM. I'm looking to get the RB exhaust to make it better, but I'm affraid that it will only make it worse. Any info would be great. Thanks,

G-Rat

hah - it actually sounded pretty cool with the muffler on in person (loud as **** when you revved, however at idle it had the burbly V8 deep sound to it.

G-Rat: yes I had the RP SuperCat on (had it for a few months) and yes its raspy when the engine is cold, but once you get warmed up I enjoy the sound of mine. One thing the RB Exhaust does for sure is eliminate the Raspy'ness.

there is a definite deeper tone to the whole setup, it must be because I was so used to the RP supercat + stock that the "impression" of the first startup wasnt as great for me (i still LOVE this whole system I got here) The Racing beat unit DOENST make it more raspy at all, in fact it fixes it.

Props to racing beat, once I got the old exhaust out, and once I got down under the car... it literally only took 5 minutes to bold the connecting pipe on and then just slide the 4 rubber grommets over the hooks, simple as pie!

When is the next get together? let me know cuz ill be there barring any weird work BS.

Thanks for the info....

Is the cold start still bad with the new RB? Or different?

I think you've made my decision. Maybe a video would cinch the deal.

Maybe a cold start and lite rev video and a warm rev video? Please?

No clue. Nobodys asked for an install party. I usually don't go to the addison / ft. worth meets because I'm working and they're far away.

If they had the cheddars meets right off 635/macarthur more than once a year I'd go.
