Just curious if you can get someone else's Cobb AP and just get a quick tune. Unless it's a bit more complicated than that. Thanks if anyone knows.

 

You can only have one car tuned at a time with it. For them to use it one your car they would have to return thier car to stock and reset it.

Now if you only needed it tuned temporarily, say you were going to the track and they didnt mind detuning thier car for a day, then technically yes..you could temporarily tune your car. But again, yours would have to be put back to stock and "unmarried" from the cobb for them to use it again.

 

I wouldn't suggest using someone else's custom tune on your RX8. There will be too many differences from MAF calibration to fuel table adjustments. You could easily cause damage to your motor.
