I have new info about the cat:

A HJS Motorsport Cat has a rated temperature up to 1000° Celsius, so that is 1832°F.

The price has dropped also....

According to their website, http://www.hjs-motorsport.com/bezugsquellen.php, it looks like Billy Boat is a distributor for their products. www.bbexhaust.com makes no mention of this.

I have only logged up to 1702F on the dyno with my current cat. Anybody log higher? Does the distance, when locating this cat from the exhaust manifold/header exit flange to the cat's entrance flange (welded to the cat with minimal distance), effect the ability of the CAT to properly lite off? Or, does the location still need to be as close as possible?

I'd give my left nut to know what the stock cat is rated at.

I did find this from swoope at some point and it's consistent with what I see with my AFRs in the low 12s

We actually contacted them to use that Cat in another Mid Pipe design....I couldn't justify the expense to produce and sell. He gave me a very impressive price if I bought 10 of them.

Too many projects going on for us lately....one day

I'm curious to see how well that cat holds up with your turbo Psycho.

I had the cat put on about two weeks ago.
Performance wise, i don't see a noticeable changed compared to the RP surpercat that i had. It could be due to the HKS legamax catback being the bottle neck.
Exhaust noise is about the same and there's no more bad smell.
The cat is hanging a little low to the ground. I would suggest getting the 2/1012/10PE cat. it is smaller in body diameter.
