Omicron: Well I did the install several weeks ago and did a write-up; but the handling is awesome! And the new tires and wheels make a big difference as well...

I'm REALLY surprised the Mazdaspeed exhaust uses a muffler clamp - that's a little ghetto. The rest of the system looks very well made, though.

Man, I love looking at new car suspension - looks a lot better than 100,000+ mile RX-7 suspension that's nasty dirty .

Hi cortc, nice looking suspension!
Can you give me some details about it please? THey look like coilovers, are they adjustable in anyway? height/damper/camber etc.... How does the car handle now? Have you had a chance to take it on some nice roads? How are things like the body roll, etc? No problems with the suspension bottoming out or anything like that? How much did they lower the car by?
I am thinking about some coilovers for the RX8, and I assume the Mazdaspeed parts will be more of a mild street package than hardout track gear. How hard does she ride now?

Also with the sways, and struts did they make a big difference too?

Lastly notice any more power with the exhaust, and was the flywheel worth it? It seems to be the mod of choice on these boards....

(Sorry for all the questions, but I want to start modding my RX, and I find others hands on experience invaluable)

Thanks!!

DCD: Thanks, in regards to your questions; they have all been answered in my past post.

Here are some links:

https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...5&pagenumber=1

https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...threadid=25546

The total drop on the suspension is 1 inch... The sway bars make a big difference... Like the stocks they are coilovers, they however are not adjustable... The car handles much better, almost to body roll... The MS exhaust is good for about 5-7hp... The flywheel is worth it!

What was the diff between stock and MS exhaust? From the pics they look pretty much the same. Was there a weight diff? Size diff?

Deeper sound, it flows better so it is less restrictive... Also a little lighter...
