Sneed 4 Speed brake cooler anyone?

Anybody have these? they look pretty nice but i would much rather have it powder coated black on the brackets and black hose to make things look cleaner.

SneedSpeed Brake Cooler Kit for Rx-8 - Sneed Speed Shop

298.00 not bad at all wouldn't mind purchasing these

unless you are really pushing it --like driving 11/10--you dont need these. Just get proper pads/rotors and fluid and you are good to go.
I guess if you are driving a tight circuit, with many turns they could be of some use--but the 8 is fairly lightweight and doesnt generate that much speed so its the individuals call. Nice to have options and it looks like a pretty good kit. I guess there is no contact/blinding with full turning?

This doesn't look too bad. It saves some time on the build if one doesn't want to drill 4 holes to accomodate the cooling hose and build 2 brackets at home.

When are you going to give me something tough, But yes that's easy. where would like the filter and would you need a Maf flange? Also Im guessing you would want it hard pipe not the flex crap

or are you walking a duct with piping that dumps to the existent air filter? That's even easier. Either way I have most of it laying here in the garage lol

I just want to cool that area, my firewall is getting cooked despite being banged out and sprayed. I plan on pulling everything soon and trying a DEI tunnel wrap material there. I'm not sure how much a duct to that area would help but it can't hurt.

Ya know this shop is on my way home from work. I may definitely stop by there now. Cool option, but i see olddragger's point in not needing them.
