Smoothing Throttle Body

Smoothing Throttle Body
Okay, I've searched for ported throttle bodies, but not much popped up. Porting isn't quite the right word, but smoothing might be a bit better.
Has anybody smoothed out their throttle body? I haven't looked in there in great detail, but I'm pretty sure there are bumps, and a lip to smooth out. I've done it on a couple other cars (1993 Escort RS2000, and 2000 Escort ZX2) that worked out pretty well.
Don't worry, I wouldn't be expecting much from it. Maybe some MPG, or a bit of throttle response. Couldn't hurt too much I suppose?
Thoughts?
