Looks like a dealer may have made their own mazdaspeed rx8 to sell to give themselves some publicity. Or it's possibly just a publicity stunt all by itself. Making your own s/c modified rx8 with a mazdaspeed kit doesn't make it a mazdaspeed, so to me it means nothing. The day when the car is produced and sold as a genuine mazda vehicle, is the day I will believe it.

Sounds like someone traded in their car. I can't imagine a factory car coming with motegi gunmetal rims.

As for the one for sale on Autotrader, it sounds like what we have here at Mazdasouth, an RX-8 with the MS body kit, wheels, springs, interior trim, and shifter.

I'm still not sure what the deal is with this SC'd RX-8 but let's ease up on the kid. I doubt he is making it up and he is just passing on what he was told.

There is a Wooster Mass. but i think that would be more like 3k miles from you.

lol....big claims need to live up to big expectations i guess. people on this board are a LITTLE bit antsy if i dare say so.

however, i would be too if there really was a S/C MS RX-8 coming out soon.

rule of thumb: the more unfeasible the claim.....the more pics you better have

Its pronounced Wooster, but its really Worcester.

Also, remember guys, Japan never got the Mazdaspeed Protege we have here in the US. That was strictly a N/A thing.

One more thing: For all you guys say that the torque is low, this is a centrifugal supercharger, not a roots type. Torque will ALWAYS be "low" with this kind.

Troy....., how we doin'? Can you confirm the type/make of supercharger fitted to the car, even if you don't want to post the pics?

Regards, Gomez.

I'm going by the dealer here in Washington tonight. They have a $41K RX8 MazdaSpeed sitting in the showroom. I'll take my camera with me, and if it is the same I'll post it here. I know it's VIN # is JM1FE173540133568

Too bad. But it does look sweet.

Only thing I didn't like was the MAZDASPEED logo that was on the rear drivers side, but not on the passanger side.

also, does the inside of the hood on that car have more padding than normal? I don't recall mine looking like that, but then again, I don't look at the padding much.
