It depends if you want to grenade your engine or not

Check out Jeff's Mazdamaniac site for a Cobb AccessPort...seems like you would want a bit of help tuning it

An if I hve bad coil packs will that prevent it from starting as well cause imma chk that. An was is the easiest way to unflood it cause I tried pull starting it an dropping the clutch an that didn't work but I only tried once. Do I hve to do it a few times to really clear it out

If you didn't touch the coils and it ran before the install...you likely flooded it...you might want to check and see if the eccentric shaft sensor is plugged in...and check that you have spark...but other than that you should be able to tow start it if all systems are working properly...just keep pulling it till it starts ( within reason )

It's the equivalent to the crank/cam sensor on a piston engine

If you have spark it is likely OK...

Check your ECU plugs to make sure they are in all the way...and then tow it

boost is not tied to rpm. it is tied to load. you just cant go into boost, regardless of the rpm

Damn ok so basically If I get the car running I should drive for a little so it don't flood then turn it off an put the blue emanage in for now till I get a better comp so I can at least drive it around. Right?

if you get it running, just let it idle till its warm, safer than driving around to warm it up. Then get the emanage back in until you can get proper management setup. Even then i would be wary of pushing it on the equipped emanage maps

The Blue e-manage is not safe for boost either out of the box AFAIK......

You can piddle around..but if you step on it...look out

I will try and remain civil a bit longer...but you need to do some reading in the forum

Detonation is deadly in a rotary engine......even one good ping can break a seal...so a bad tune is asking for it...

The emanage doesn't tune the RX-8 well...the stock out of the box tune in it is pathetic....so Boom is very possible..

You decide after a bit of reading if you want to push your luck...or find a relatively inexpensive way to make it run much better

PS: Do you have a WBO2 meter in the car......

IF NO.....park the car until you get your head straightened out

Well imma keep it parked then. Ya thanks for that tip will the car be able to run better if I get the Cobb ap an then dyno the car an get it profesionally tuned or should I wait to get it tuned till I get the right accesseries so it don't blow up on the dyno with that shitty comp

1. get it running
2. get gauges that support putting a turbo in an RX8
3. get a better tuning solution, i would suggest the AP from mazdamaniac
4. tune it
5. profit.

if you dont have a boost gauge dont try to do anythimg more than idle. Get the AP, you will need it eventually, put on MM base FI tune (that should give you a little insureance if you do go into any boost) and work on getting it running with that map on.

I wouldnt even touch it to get it running if you dont have any boost gauges or a tune.
