Im still clueless of which catback system to get? Greddy does 22hp? but is that true? Can anyone help me choose? PLEASE!

hey im new to the rx8 forum previously owned a wrx but crashed it about a week ago and now a result of driving fast in the rain i ended up with a brokin leg my rx8 is going to be here in about a week my question is is it worth gettinh the single sided hks exhaust or just stick between the b&b or the daul hks legamax

 

get the Borla period. I got it about a week ago and I love it. I researched tons and decided that it was the one, and am glad I got what I got. It is not too loud. Actually, it is perfect. Under normal crusing, it almost sounds stock, same as at idle. When you accelerate, it sounds amazing. It sound deeper which is great. You can't go wrong with this one.

 

does any one know any web site where they might have a video or some more information about the Abflug FOUR TAIL SUS MUFFLER

 

Not sure, but I know Kenstyle has a four tip exhaust as well.

Why not just put four tips on your stock exhaust?

 

For the record, the TurboXS Race Pipe will not fit on the OEM Exhaust.

hey im deciding between a mazdaspeed or borla i just cant realy decide. Are they both about the same weight and hp gain and i know this is silly but will the mazdaspeed exhaust spit flames too or only the borla.

To shoot out flames, you need a midpipe, which will work with any exhaust, but they are illegal, because they don't pass emissions.

 

I want to get a borla exhaust on my rx8, but I already have a RP supercat midpipe...do you think it could get flames?

A midpipe has no catalyic converter, so it should shoot out flames, even with a stock exhaust. Try flooring it. This should make flames come out. Also, bring it up to a high rpm and leave it there, then you should see flames.

 

Under the right conditions, the OEM Exhaust (The entire system including its cat) can shoot flames. Mine constantly shoot flames due to my midpipe

Hey guys, haha it might sound cheap, but personally i kept my old exhaust just incase, i went to meineke and had a cat back y pipe made for like 200 bucks. no muffler, Its pretty loud and sounds sweet above like 5 grand!
