Review of Racing Beat exhaust system +SR MotorSports FastCat
Hi folks,
Thought I'd drop you a wire on this upgrade.
The new Exhaust system installed is a combo of:
SR Motorsports Highflow Fast Catalytic Converter
And
REV8 Exhaust System
Picture of Original Mazda RX8 Exhaust:

Picture of Racing Beat Exhaust:

The place I had this performance part installed: "MF Technologies".
They did speedy work, great service, good price. I highly recommend them.
Canada: British Columbia region:
I hope you enjoy their service as much as I did!
Cheers!

Do I like it? - yes, once I've accepted the muffler is the primary event when enjoying the ride. If it didn't sound so nice FROM THE OUTSIDE, I probably would not recommend it. But it does sound nice... fantastic actually.. IMHO.
It's a different car now. I will miss how it once was:

That's the setup I used to have. I really liked it. I even had another resonator put onto the high flow cat, to lessen the noise, but that sound to me was awesome. There can be setups that are way. way louder. That setup is rather tame by comparison.

There was a film clip of a RB exhaust w/RP supercat floating around here. I had it saved but not backed-up and then my computer crashed. I have searched around and can't seem to find it anymore. Anyone have that link by chance?

I have attached a zip file and choose Extract all, and a wizard should pop up walking you through the steps. One of the steps is select a destination, and you can choose to put it on your desktop to find it easily. Keep hitting ok or next. This is for windows.

That sounds great, thanks for taking the time to put that on youtube. I am definitely liking that combo and will probably go that direction. Need to figure out my justification approach with the wife.... . Guess I can use the "better gas mileage" approach!
