RB Header Installer?
#26
Although I never install a header before, Im 99.99% sure that you dont need a lift to install it. Hell I mean you dont even need a lift to replace an engine, so why a header ?
I have tools and everything so ...
Ahh, just notice that GAMBEAN is here maybe I should stop by to see how sweet its going to be ...

hey, did any of you guys try the TITEK SS HEADER, I found one on ebay for 509, free shipping, don't know if RB charge shipping for their header or not. but this one seem similar to the RB header.
sorry for going off the topic alittle bit (still relates to the header but...)

I can't come, I would love to come, in fact, I want to install the header myself too. I live in Denver, CO. far away from you guys.
once you done, let me know how you feel. also let me know what kind of tools you need to take down the OEM header.

Thinking about these with a staggered setup:
Also i'm going to sell my OEM style carbon fiber hood for $150....Its fadding but a wax and buff will get it looking like new in no time.
Clear is messed up on 1 spot but you cant notice it unless your looking for it. The points on the corners of the hood are kinda dinged up from the previous owner standing it up on the hing part but overall for 150 its a great deal....If anyone wants it ill bring it through on saturday.

when i got my header installed on the 8, the header was leaning against the crossmember and that cause vibration whenever you let go the clutch, so i bought a brace kit to replace the crossmember and now the vibration is not that bad, again my header is from boostbrothers.

GAMBEAN dude, thanks for so much for everything last night man you are the man dude!
That HEADER INSTALL was a str8 up bitch!!! 2 stops to petboys 2 stops to the hardware store 2 cases of Heinekens and some BBQ and in total about 7-8 hours we got it installed.
We had to remove the ******* crossmember cause you cant fit the damn RB header in cause it sticks out 2 much. plus the ******** that sold me the header didnt give me the bolts for the damn emissions air pump and those were a ******* bitch to get installed too......
Now the good....Im not joking when i say the RB header increases low end RPM like a bitch!!! Its not no butt dyno either and it sounds awesome!!! The speed to redline is way faster than before and i know i redline my car almost 20 times a day so when i took it around the block the redline was faster.
If you got the time man its definity worth the install but it is is a bitch -- a lift would make it so much easier! remember you have to remove the cross member when doing it or it wont fit.
Gambean man thanks so much for your hard work.....
