If I had to do everything over I would do this:
  1. Dual pass aluminum radiator
  2. FAL dual fans w/shroud
  3. Mazmart Water Pump (optional, stock is fine)
  4. Mazmart thermo (optional, stock is fine)
  5. Mazmart RE-medy oil pressure mod
  6. stock oil coolers with thermostats removed
  7. Spal fan and thermo switch on the drivers side oil cooler
  8. custom oil cooler lines with AN/JIC fittings and a real proper oil thermostat (mocal, earls's etc)
  9. aluminum under tray
  10. high temp silicone radiotor and heater hoses
  11. And a have teh fan on/off setting adjusted via a COBB or seperate fan controller from FAL.
You may be right, though your setup still leaves that heater core circuit uncooled. However, that's a very expensive and time-consuming set of mods. It may well be necessary in Texas with FI. Will the $350 aux cooling kit do what you're proposing? Likely not. Does it do something: yes. Does it do enough? YMMV depending on application. For me it likely will, though as I said, I haven't yet torture tested it. To complain that this single addon falls short of the sum of 11 other mods seems, however, rather unfair.

I'm not bashing anything, I was just don't think they are great compared to what you can get for nearly the same price if you compile the parts on your own. You don't have to go crazy expensive to get quality stuff if you look around. The fan cooler kit got a bit of hype and once you see it in person it's marginal at best.

For someone who wants to just buy and install with minimal fuss then yes, they are the best options for the price.

It's all debatable. The stock setup for oil and coolant cooling is just fine provided it is all in good working condition.
