Racing Beat!

We currently have an RX-8 and have been evaluating the performance of this car. It is our intention to offer parts for this car once the car is released for sale.

Best regards,

Are you building/designing any products for the RX8? I have used some of your products with my Miata and am looking forward to your designing some systems for the RX8, in particular a cat-back system.

Is advertising allowed on this forum? (I really don't know, just curious).

Sorry- I do not represent Racing Beat in any way, I was just excited that they have an RX8 and are building products for it. Your mileage may vary. More aftermarket means better stuff for us users- one reason the Miata has been so successful, it has an incredible after market supply of products. Racing Beat is one of many that have developed stuff for RX-7s and Miatas, etc.

I should have made it more clear that I just posted the email I got from them without comments. This is not a posting from Racing Beat. I guess that would be obnoxious if it were...

nope, but people searching and posting about new products they found (reviews, or finding things for other people) isn't really soliciting, so i think it'd be okay.

It is not, but miata2rx8 was merely passing on a response he got from Racing Beat.

Sputnik and Wakeech beat me to it- as long as it's just info passed on by members, and not a group or individual advertising their products, it's ok.

waaaaay back when, someone from the forum was bothering Racing Beat (was it me?? i can't remember) and they replied back that they haven't an RX-8 or RENESIS in their posession (at least at that time)...

it's great to know they finally have one, and are currently tweaking some items for it... equal length, thin skin (double skin like the factory?) tubular header to replace the log-a-rino, a straight through (one sided?) cat-back exhaust, experimentation with porting, design duplication of the side and intermediate housings for a full-aluminum racing block... woah *shivers down spine*

...i'm betting these guys are itching for a new RX-7 to go back to Bonneville with

Some time back when I had my '93 B Miata I picked up an aero kit and springs from RB. At that time they had an engine dyno. I don't know if they still do but I would imagine so.
