R-Magic sport catalyser?

Hi Guys.

i am new in this board. i came from austria (europe).
And here we dont have many tuning shops for import cars.

Anyone know where i can bye the R-Magic Sport Catalyser very cheap? Beacause the cheapest one where i see is Japanparts.com for 900 Dollar.

And is it a very good catalyser?
I need one that have 200 Cells, because in Austria it is not legal to drive whit a 100 cell catalyser.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Rotary Performance switched to a ceramic cat because the metal matrix couldn't handle the heat. The R-Magic cat is that expensive. If you want hi-flow you could just buy a $100 Magnaflo cat and have someone remove yours and weld it on.

I've got 35,000+ miles on my Rotary Performance Supercat to date. I guess I'm lucky!

As for the R-Magic unit, can't say where to buy it for less. Maybe PM the Japanparts.com forum member here for advice.

You think a metal cat isn´t better as a ceramic one?

Because the ceramic cat is always broken. And a metal one can´t brake? or is it the heat that the oxygen sensor working wrong??

Stuart, the Highflow cat ist realy cheap but i will a complet one, that i must only put it on the same place like the old one.
I don´t will welding anything on the original pipes.

R Magic offers one of the best sports catalyzer for the RX8, they are the best with rotaries. Japanparts.com is probably the best place to get it from, Graham Ware might even give you a %15 discount for being a forum member.

And your proof is..... your username told you so? You tested all of them on the market and it's in the top three? It's expensive?

man, that r-magic high flow cat sure is pretty...i'm sure most on this forum have gone with a cheaper high flow cat (i.e. RP) instead of this. can't see how this cat would free up more HP than others since it has a resonator on it, whereas others don't.
