lg, you should check out Jeff's post on the measured reduction in resistance with a properly mounted grounding kit. Going from 7+ ohms down to 2-3 is pretty fucking empirical to me.

Also, I didn't do my install for "better sound". Shortening the path electricity has to travel back to the battery has numerous other subtle benefits. Do a couple searches on the topic, you just might be surprised with what you find.

Hay guys i picked up this kit and i got to say. The support and communication with Chris at flex innovations was top notch. I got the wires last night. I got a kit for both my 06 WRX and my RX8. Installation instructions are clear as a bell and I put them on before i went to work this morning. Took like 5 mins. I took a few pictures.. My car seems to Idle soother. But I haven't driven the car too much yet..

I'd really like two more wires with this kit (as others have suggested) There's an engine ground fairly close to the air pump and UIM/LIM and another body grounding point next to the master cylinder that I'd like to have in place.

I think in both locations simply extending the daisy chain would work fine.

That pretty much sums it up. If you've got a new car, or your grounds are already good, I don't think this will do anything for you.

I had mine installed for about a month now and didn't notice any difference (then again, my idle was always smooth to begin with). The RPM's still wonder +/- 30 when the A/C is turned on.

I am going to make mine. In theory wire doesn't have resistance, but realistically it has resistance, but very little. I am going to make my wires long and go throught the stock wire looms for a "stock look". I may/may not do a DIY on this upon my findings. Please be patient. Also this shouldn't cost more that $20 for longer wires and some connectors. Subscribing to remind me in the future.

I picked up two extra wires (custom length / custom connectors) from flex innovations last week. They charged me $15 shipped for the lot of them.

So now I have two additional grounding points... one between the TB and drivers side body ground point next to the brake fluid reservoir and the other between the passenger side body grounding point and the engine ground near the SSV / VDI actuators.

I am looking for the instructions for this in 2018 because alla of these grounds came in a box with the car I bought - buy FI is terrible with responding to emails.

Now the pictures are gone. Damn it, photo bucket!

Grounds

I just installed a Flex innovations wire set in black diamond on my 2007 GT brilliant black .The quality is outstanding.I notice much smoother idles, quicker response and no idle dips during a/c cycling.I began cleaning and sanding all the ground points to bare metal I could find including fixing a broken one on the Borla exhaust. If anyone knows of a good place to ground the coils please let me know.oh,I now have about 2000 mi on the new reman from JPR Imports in Blackwood NJ.
