yes its the 5.08. Its ok, I dont care anymore. I have my Rx8 for hot days.

Zerobanger,

So, are you saying that you DID try the PFC AC bypass where you hardwire the AC system to perform as "stock" and it still didn't work? When I did this to mine it worked like a charm (went back to ice cold air). Have you had your system checked for freon? I know that sounds really crazy, but I've never heard of anyone trying the hardwire fix without success. I've heard of people doing the mod and having to reverse it because the car kept dying, but never anyone who didn't get cold air. Just curious!

yes i'm saying it didn't work. Again, I have a 1994, the wire colors were different but I DID count the positions so I was doing the right wires on the schematic.

it has nothing to do with freon, I plug stock ecu in and everything is fine.

Sorry again ZB. Being as I live in Phoenix the car was basically undriveable with the Power FC from May through September until I tried the hardwire method. Now it works fine as long as I remember to turn it off on WOT. Hope you find a solution that works for you short of parking the car during the summer!
