I don't know what happened, but I suspect both sides were told not to put out any more info on it, either by their respective attornies or perhaps the judge involved with the court case.

Whether we want to believe it or not, there are authorities out there higher than RX-8 Club

 

Judges are typically fairly bright. Given my "limited" experience in the arena of civil law, mazsport doesn't have a chance in hell of winning.

The burden is on them to prove that premix caused the problem and if we walk away with that kind of ruling then that's the biggest load of doublespeak cr@p I've seen in some time. Oxymoron, irony, pick your own synonym.

Either way, I don't see myself doing much business with them. Way too much negativity out there as far as I'm concerned.

And if mazsport does make it right for mysql, it's going to be because they were ORDERED to. The translation for me then is that if I ever get anything from them and I'm not satisified then I might as well file suit day one.

 

As in Non Disclosure Agreement? heh.. hell my hands are not bound! At some point I'll be sure to ask mysql which fuel pump he's using...

The court case was settled in mediation.

I haven't been posting updates about my issues since the court case because I consider it water under the bridge as long as the terms of the settlement are adhered to. Scott wanted me to stop making "slanderous statements", which I don't think I've been guilty of, but to make sure there's no misunderstandings, I plan on staying out of the lime light - hence the lack of my posts on the topic.


With that said, this fuel pump issue is still outstanding. I haven't heard anything since Scott's last post here, and now I don't even have the fuel pump in my possession. I would be happy with just a $400 refund off my $1,200 investment.

Too much to ask?

I harbor no ill will towards Scott, I would just like these issues settled so I can move on.

Technically, there's nothing preventing me from talking about what happened. I am avoiding it because we have an agreement and I don't need to needle into what has already been settled.

I'm taking lessons from Charles on how to behave as a gentlemen and not kiss and tell

 

Hopefully you can put this behind you sooner than later now that there's been some formality put in place. Unlike you I'm not bound by legal terms and can state emphatically that its much better we learn about this type of BS now then end up like others we've been reading about... $30,000

When I made this thread I was having serious issues and did not care about placing blame on anyone. I just wanted to know what my symptoms indicated and what I would have to do to get my car running. I also was hesitant in "outing" Mazsport as I wanted to amicably work this issue out with him.

It was Scott himself that verified it for all when he made post #21 here

 

yeah, but when new members search Mazsport pump, (by thread title) they might never see this.

Not trying to kick Scott while he's down but now that we know there were some issues with this pump, no reason to mask it.
