Anyone running a canzoomer or any other type of piggyback system together with the Racing Beat REVI air intake system , ARE THEY WORKING WELL TOGETHER thoughts ??

I have the REVi intake and the Racingbeat exhaust... the canzoomer will be installed on May 7th. I will be back home about a week later. I will post my findings then.

I have both the REVi and the CZ. I think they work GREAT together! I have more power than ever. I haven't adjusted my CZ since getting the REVi - since my CanScan broke during my first run with the new intake and is back for repair. But, I haven't noticed and hesitation or anything. I don't anticipate needing to adjust my map.

I am REALLY satisfied with my N/A mods so far. I am planning a cat+pipe soon. I can't think of any more N/A mods, but I am really pleased with my power nowadays. Its sooo much faster than stock!

Headers are half that price now and are producing better numbers. Whoever cracks the siamese center port has the header market wrapped up.

^indeed they do...lol but no one so far.

only reason i'd get a header is if i plan on getting a supercharger (axial flow) rather than a turbo (greddy) down the road.

haha but by then they might've actualy figured out that pesky center port :D

Has anyone with the CZ unit had the "N" flash done yet? If so, do you still notice a significant difference with the CZ turned on vs. off?

Soon as next week for me

I went for the flash, and did not even need an appointment. My mechanic said, "Sure - no problem" But his WDS had a broken pin on the cable end that one of the other mechanics broke. So, the new WDS will be here on Thursday, and I will go back. Then Dan is giving me back my CZ this weekend, so by next week I will be on N and CZ at the same time....

Can you check out what your Long Term Fuel Trim is after driving around with the REVi installed... i'm very curious if everyone is experiencing great gains with the REVi because it temporarily leans the car out until the computer adjusts

Before the REVi was installed, I was at 2% LTFT. But I also reset the PCM allot with my battery mod. I'll get a reading tonight with the REVi installed and post it up also.

I'm running REVi, CZ 1.1, and B&B Exhaust. They do work well together. I can't say i'm noticing the gains that others are from the REVi becuase I had a properly tuned CZ before the REVi. Before REVi, I was running about 27% more airflow above 6000rpm. With REVi that number has dropped to about 13%. Sooo, if you were not running CZ before REVi and are now running REVi, I can see how the increased airflow would be felt. Quite honestly, I believe the CZ is the most HP/$ if you want to spend the time to tune properly (which really isn't that hard guys).

What exactly does the LTFT represent? I'm not familiar with it....

I can't wait for my CanScan to be fixed! I'm just running a "safe" map unitl then because it broke before I installed the REVi.

Are you saying that you adjusted your map down 14% after installing the REVi? If so, can you tell us how long it was after you installed the REVi that you tuned it? Have you logged any runs since then to see if things have changed as the ECU learns the new intake?

to make a long story short, the LTFT is basically what the computer uses to "learn" new fuel trims. If it consistantly seeing an error in closed loop mode with the factory map and having to adjust, it will eventually move the LTFT to compensate.

"Fuel trim in the positive side indicates the computer is adding fuel and, of course, the negative side indicates computer is subtracting fuel. Most manuals suggest that the actual numbers are a percentage figure. That is, a fuel trim parameter of +5 indicates that the computer has added 5% to the base pulse width. I know of no way to prove whether this is correct or not, but it isn't really important. What we need to know is that long-term fuel trim numbers larger than + or - 10 indicate that there's some kind of a problem with base pulse width calculations."
