Question for those that had no issues with the RS version, did your intake fit totally over the mouth of the intake box? Mine didn't (intercooler issues aside). I actually took my intake box out to have a look at it and there are gaps on the sides as well as the fact it doesnt fit neatly over the mouth. It appears to also not be long enough on the length connecting to the intake box by about 10mm. I also have issues with the one screw hole to attach it to the sub frame and the supplied "elbow" and screws which dont fit and will never work.

As it stands, I am going to have to fabricate some new brackets for the intercooler, but now I am going to have to find a rubber sleeve/bell mouth to join the tube and the box.

Pictures to come.

Cheers

OK well I read around a bit and spoke to a few others who this. My belief is that I have an Ebay "Special Edition" . It appears that this one doesn't fit neatly over the intake mouth like the genuine one does.

I have attached some pictures of how this does connect. In the end, I have refabricated the bracket connecting the intake to the frame. I also had to redo the Intercooler top brackets to allow sufficient clearance for the intake. I had to take the front frame section off in order to get the intake past the intercooler but it fits fine.

As to how it feels, well I am assuming I will need to retune for the full affect to be found as I couldnt tell the difference. And much to my daughters dismay, no MOOOO!

Cheers

You have to have the "M" style to get the MOOO. The Odula "*****" in my 8 still have the moo if you listen carefully. Coz the exhaust and the header shield made all the noises atm.

Haha, I don't think so. I actually have not seen what the M stands for. Maybe I should email them.

You mean to extend/remould the end that mates with the intake box? I can buy fibreglass at the local hardware store so might just spend some time doing that.

I have had a number of conversation with the ebay seller I bought off and he has finally come clean they are a knock off, not original. So please be aware that the ebay ones are knock offs. Curious if anyone who bought an original has the same fitment issues.

Cheers
