If you are referring to the red hot dyno run that Charley did at Mazcare, I can verify that after running it for a year it did not cause any heat problems with the area around it.
same, no probs with mine.

Their bung is located too far up imo along with a reported heat problem with them.

Thumbs up

Yes I bought it off ebay from Tuning Depot. it is a knock off of the Fujitsubo LegalisR exhaust and sounds pretty close to it once it is worn in and warmed up. i dont notice any drone on the highway and the sound is a little louder than stock but much deeper. I dont know much about the header but highly recommend the catback. PS
I am also using the stock cat. ill try to put a clip up before the end of the week.

Are you running a high flow cat or midpipe?

I did have cooler engine bay temps with the midpipe.

I believe Charley's dyno run with the OBX header, that got cherry red, was running a stock cat at the time.

I have the obx-r exhaust. you have to look in the description of the item to find out.

I ran the OBX for awhile before switching to the HKS Hi-power. I thought it was a great pipe for the money. Definitely better sounding than the stock and other than some subpar welds it looked pretty good.

You shouldn't need to replace the gasket on the cat unless you are installing a midpipe too.

It should bolt up with the items you have. Have fun with the exhaust hangers... there is a tool that helps get those off without a lot of work.

i have one of those at work.... Snap-On is no stranger LOL i prefer spraying the hangers with penetrating oil and it slides off easily as well... going to fight the bolts at the cat with a snap on battery impact, hell with manual labor!

if i had air here at home it would be done the night it made it to my doorstep!

It is actually Blue Point which is a subsidiary of Snap-On.

I was disappointed when it wasn't Snap-On... then I looked a little deeper.

It is only 2 nuts and the hangers that hold the cat-back section.
