Need information from Greddy SP2 Users!

Sup guys, was wondering I seen and read some threads indicating using rp and the exhaust. My question is that all you need to purchase just the race pipe and the cat back or do you need like some o2 stimulator and any bolts or anything? Also, if ya know where to go to purchase it leave a linkie so I can make me a purchase or get more information. Thanks guys!

You should re-title your thread as it has nothing to do with the Greddy SP2 and is really a MidPipe question. You should also re-think putting a CAT less midpipe on a AT. Your only gain will be in noise, o2 stimulators do not work on this car plus the inspection / re-sale issues of a CAT less car. As far as you bolt question there is no extra parts needed and you can find the pipe and SP2 in the vendors area. It’s your money but when it’s all said and done you will still have the LOW POWER AT.

Exclamation Expo speaks the truth....

I just wanted to restate what he said - the car will have a constant trouble code stored that will fail an emissions check, and if your motor craps out for ANY reason, they will blame your pipe. The light will come and go, but the code will be there, even long after you put the cat back.

Expo is right also, about the simulators - nobody has made/sold/used a successful "fooler" for the '8 (I'm always hoping someone will, and very willing to be proved wrong, but so far, not.)

The " fooler" would have to be damn smart to pass the monitors that the ECU uses to test the emissions systems..........
