I got my undertray from a vendor here, it took about 2 weeks to receive it. It was very easy to install, the front and rear bolts line up perfectly but because of the bend the ones in the middle require a spacer. You could use washers and nut and bolt it, I used some metal spacers I had laying around and 1/4 x 2 inch bolts.
I would have to jack the car for a decent pic but this site has pics so you get an idea..

Today is not really a good day to "swing by" anyway.. lol
It is a nice product, a bit expensive for a piece of aluminum but the quality is there and like I said it's very easy to install. Did you get the link I posted for you?

I wish I knew what the UIM is, perhaps then I could give you a better answer. It is directly in front of the dipstick. the upper part is plastic if that helps. It may also be leaking at the next joint below as well.

I have been on a search for the last few days for the right tank for 2 cycle oil storage in the engine bay and I found just the thing at a motorcycle salvage yard. It came off of a 1986 Enduro type dirt bike. It was repainted poorly so when I brought it home, after grinding off a couple of brackets that I won't be needing, I proceeded to clean it up, scraping off and sanding the old paint the original owner decided to coat it with. I picked up some primer and paint from a local hardware store and will repaint it tomorrow with tremclad semigloss black. It will fit nicely in front of the washer fluid reservoir held on with a bracket that I will have to manufacture using the same bolts that hold the washer fluid reservoir.
With that problem solved, I ordered a SOHN OMP Adaptor online and have plenty of time to get my oil injection tank looking pretty in its newly mounted home before my adaptor arrives.
I have a question though, I am wondering if they will also ship the required gaskets with my SOHN Adaptor or if I need to find them myself, if so are both gaskets going to be the same and would I be able to get them at just about any auto parts store?

You only need one I guess. They ship a paper gasket to go between the OMP and block. I haven't really looked in a while, but I didn't see any oil leaking.
UIM stands for upper intake manifold. It's the black plastic piece between the throttle body and the metal lower intake manifold.

I have to admit that I have been on a bit of a learning curve with this unique car that I have admired for years.
I have read a ton about this rotary wonder in the past few months and have come a long way in my understanding but I was totally surprised by the source of my latest discovery.. My girlfriend is very sweet but I did not expect her to be able to teach me anything about my new car (if you knew her, you would understand).
Anyway, I was driving her home tonight and we stopped for a coffee along the way, while I was waiting for her to get back in the car I was exploring the buttons on the rear view mirror. When she got in the car she asked me what I was doing and I told her I was trying to figure out what the buttons were for. She said that I have to program them for it to work. I was like, huh? and she said that I can make them open the garage door. A bit skeptical, I said okay and left it at that. Wow, she knew what she was talking about and it's right in the manual!! I must have skipped over that part thinking it was like Onstar that I have in my Oldsmobile, something I don't care to siubscribe to.
I am humbled yet again, and am also reminded that we can all learn from eachother. She is soooo good for me whether I like it or not.

Beodude,
I am going to post some pics for you when I get my tank for the OMP Adaptor installed. It should be in a couple of days but I am in no hurry, just waiting for the paint to dry and then I'll figure out a bracket for it. The fit is really nice and it will proabably hold at least 2 quarts. I think once you see it you may want to do something similar. The adaptor probably won't come for a couple of weeks because they are sold out till Wednesday and then shipping to Canada can take a while so I wait..
Thanks for peaking in on my thread, you have been a real help to this noob.
Next project will be a miiidpiiiiipe!!!

Word. When you do go to install it, there are two tips I have for you. First, take the passenger side wheel off. Makes things a good bit easier. Second, when you are doing it, make sure you wait to remove the coolant line until you have the OMP off. The how-to I found said to remove the coolant line first and move the lines, then take the OMP off. My lines were so hard that I couldn't move them very easily, and feared breaking them. So I did it after, and it worked pretty well.

I heard about your first tip in another post somewhere. People were struggling to get at one of the bolts from the top or the bottom but when they took the wheel off it gave them good access. I was hoping if I took the wheel off I might not have to remove the coolant line, I guess that is not the case. I will make sure to give myself alot of time to do this, it sounds like it can be a bit of a struggle.
So I was out welding up my brackets for the tank tonight, yup plural, I decided to use 2 seperate brackets to hold the tank in place. One bracket comes off both sides of the washer fluid tank and the other bracket connects to the bolt in front. They are primed and when they are dry I will paint them black like the tank. So far 2 hours on the tank and 4 hours on the brackets, not to mention the time it took to find the right tank to fit the space and the quick trip to the hardware store for some flatbar to make my brackets with. Oh well, just about done phase one.
BTW... I have taken a few pics along the way that I will post soon..
