MS CAI has bad welds?

I herd from somewhere the Mazdaspeed cold air has bad welds? Is this true?

they are pretty good welds compared to copex and other companies, they are manufactured by AEM

Mine seems to work perfectly, has never broken, and I was one of the first people to get it. No problems here.

I don't know about the intake, but I just returned my 2nd Mazdaspeed exhaust for having cracked welds. I'm not going for a third. I got my money back and I'm getting a Racing Beat.

Oh wow I was thinking of getting the exhaust too. Hmm.. maybe its better to stick with the RB.

don't do that go ahead and get the ms exhaust i had to hit a wall(backed into one real slow one day)to crack the weld but the guy here rewelded it for me and it better than new!

if you find a bad weld, take it to get re-welded for a few bucks

on an intake, it really isn't going to matter.
