it doesnt matter if the entire thing is 3" if at some point it goes down to 2.75", the whole thing might as well go down to 2.75", you'd get the same performance and less noise...

that sucks.

for you.

in other news, im quite happy with my full turboxs exhaust.

We got you covered, I know the manufacturer that was supplying the Mazsport Gaskets, it allows flex so it won't constantly blow out. The original ones they were using were from TurboXS and were complete garbage, from what I remember they made some changes afterwards to a much better one. I am going to make a call and see if I can help you out, from what I remember Pricing was around $25.

I need a couple when you find them. Are they Mr. Gasket?

So it looks like Fluid was able to get me all the hardware that originally came with midpipe, a bit pricey but I suppose it will be worth it.

To conclude this thread - if anyone picks up a Mazsport Midpipe secondhand with no hardware.. PM Fluid Motorsports

Because I have them on my car already....

These Gaskets are excellent, I have the AP exhaust and I used to have some really bad exhaust leak issues.

No More!

Available for purchase here!

Alzorz,

I just put on my Mazsport DR midpipe on today and it sounds Sweeeeeeet. Very high end and not obnoxiously loud at all, just a deeper tone. I tore the front gasket so I just left it off (the stock cat didn't have gaskets anyhow, yes I saw the springs ) and tightened it down and it was good to go (I heard most people got rid of the gaskets any how) I didn't have any leaks but I am running my stock catback. You have chosen wisely, you're gonna love it. Thanks 05Rex08 and gregg for your PMs on the midpipe. Good luck on your install bro, it was pretty easy since it fit perfectly.

AJ

Hey sorry to thread jack, but my o2 sensor didn't clamp up back into it's bracket so I left it off and there is very tiny vibration noise that sounds like it might be that spring on the 02 sensor vibrating against some metal. How did you guys set up your 02 sensor on the Mazsport DR pipe? Maybe I can get a sound clip up. It only vibrates when I have it in gear and accelerating. If I am in neutral and rev it, I don't hear it. Maybe I can wrap it in thermal tape.

Soon.. i hope to get these gaskets in tomorrow and possibly getting it on tomorrow night if my dad is cool enough to let me borrow one of his lifts at work.

Q: what gaskets did you say you tore? the stock cat ones? or the ones provided to you with the midpipe?

^^^Interesting, I was able to connect it back together and put it in the bung but it was a tight stretch. Good news, no CEL thus far and I took it for a drive today! I think that little spring on the o2 sensor is the problem to my tiny vibration. I can live with it but I'm a stickler when it comes to my car. brb.
