oil metering system? is that what you mean? it would be the same as the pump upgrade that racing beat sells.

Don't know where you could get it in the US. I do know, however, that I got my gauges (the same three as in this kit), gauge controller, oil filter adaptor for the oil press/temp probes, a new radiator hose with a place to mount the water temp probe, and the PTP gauge pod (which looks better than that one, IMHO) for less than it would cost you to buy this thing. Just to let you know.

the reason i like this one is because it's lower profile than the ptp. i would rather get the fujita/feed gauge pod, but that's only for RHD. do you have pictures of the oil filter adaptor and where you plugged into for the coolant temp?

DO those go on top of the dash, or do you have to have the Nav system opening?

The coolant hose I got, made by Blitz, can be seen here. You can see that it already has a tap built in for a temp sensor. Very nice. I'll have to dig my oil filter adaptor out tomorrow to take a picture. I got it from www.japanparts.com (it's not listed, but you can email them and ask for the "Anniversary RX-8 oil press/temperature adaptor"). I got my PTP gauge pod early (second one they sold, or something like that), and don't remember paying $500 for it. That could be the price now. And it has been well over six months since I bought the gauges and gauge controller, and in that time I've been to Iraq and back (heh, that rhymes), so I couldn't even tell you where I picked them up. All told, however, I know that it added up to $1300 for all the pieces.

**EDIT** I see that Adrian-1 beat me to the punch on pics. Those are the exact same parts that I have.

I was asking scudrunner where he got his package... not the one being talked about...
1358 just for that setup is rediculous and ugly

Here's my cheap pod. I didn't even have to paint it, the flat black matches pretty well. It was only $80! It's for 52mm gauges.

Contact the thread starter of this thread for order info, he's a forum vendor.

will it fit if you just mount it facing straight back...with no angle to the driver.

if its just ABS type plastick im sure i could heat it and bend it thanks!

It won't fit straight because it's shaped to be slanted. Personally I don't like that look too much, but it's still a decent looking solution.
The material appears to be fiberglass, so you can't bend it by heating it up.

Yup, it's fiberglass so you can't bend it, I tried.
