You can get a sound clip on www.mazdatrix.com. You will get very little performance gain from a cat back exhaust system on an RX8 (at most 3.5 hp). It is more about sound and appearance. I personally got the Racing Beat unit because I though the Mazda Speed unit's tips were a bit too small.

uhh the ms exhaust is actually the same in cost as the afformentioned exhausts. I love mine and wouldn't trade it for any other. Personally its a matter of preference, looks and sound, performance wise they are all the same.

From what my dealership tells me, I will be voiding my warranty by installing any non-Mazda exhaust so I may go with the MS one as well. But I do agree that the tips could be a bit bigger like the RB ones....

Your dealer is lying to you. They have to prove that the aftermarket part that you installed caused the failure before they can void your warranty. They can not void your warranty for the simple fact of you installing a cat back exhaust. You could sue them.

Not much louder than stock. Performance gains are minimal, if any.

If you want "sound" from an exhaust system, this is NOT the one to buy.
