Hey I like this good find. I was raised by an old school hot rodder if he needed something he built it and passed that fab skill on to me. Dont mind the BHR guys they are just like that, they blew me up a year ago for building my own exhaust and using a Flow Master 44 to do it. They said it burn up but this has yet to happen 10,000mi later. Dont get me wrong I support BHR they do good work for people that cant DIY. Just dont expect them to waive the flag for the DIY community.

It can live again.

I have searched through all the threads you have started since joining. Out of the 179 threads, you have started, there is not one titled MSD or LS2. Could it have been started by someone else and you contributed heavily to it?

I just looked again at all the threads you have created. There is nothing titled regarding MSD, LS2 or even ignition (with one unrelated exception), even in the closed threads.

Hmm. It had pictures of the MSD "7" box and racing coils along with wiring diagrams and a converter box for the ignition signals with transistors and stuff. MAybe the thread title says "AEM"?

BTW - Team is showing his Alzheimer's with the "early 2005" comment.
I bought a set of LS1 coils from him in 2006. That is when he was contemplating the conversion - 8 month after I had already built a system.

I sat on them from the original purchase in 2005 because I didn't want to cut the wiring harness and hadn't located the proper connectors. You were pursuing the the other coils types, which as I recall didn't work or weren't entirely compatible. If you did an ls2 setup prior to purchasing the parts from me and I didn't know about then I misspoke.

Ray, you may believe that statement about my MO in your mind but nothing could be further from the truth. I've turned down free or near wholesale parts from you only to buy what I believe best suits my own intended purpose, often at considerably higher expense. Such as turning down a free resonator to instead buy one that costs as much as your entire midpipe sells for or instead paying $400 more for an OS Giken LSD than for what you offered me a Carbonetics for.
I have also never picked any sides, period. This is another mental concoction by you. Fortunately I don't have to care one way or the other about any of this. I'm just a guy who races an RX-8 that has been built to his own purpose for better or worse. The fact that there's not a single BHR part on it is just a matter of circumstance, not by intention. I could care less if anyone buys this ignition system from you, Brice, or the OPs eBay.

Apparently I'm not the only one getting senile, looks like I sold the parts to Jeff in early 2008, one of my few old threads that managed not to get the ax;

https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-parts-sale-wanted-44/official-teamrx8-hardcore-part-out-136878/

And apparently I bought the first LS2 setup in early 2006, not 2005;

Not that it really matters now since I won't be using anything but OE coils, sh1tty MO and political side choosing be d@mned

All I want to say is Mark has never asked for free parts or wholesale parts. In fact on multiple occasions he has paid retail price off of our website. He has also gone out of his way to help on multiple occasions with information with no benefit to himself.

Glad he found it within himself to contribute his own. He could have at least brought some cheese to his own whine party though

I bought this adapter off ebay 2yrs ago.Only because i had coils laying around the shop.. Modified the stock bracket to mount coils, Bought some MSD custom wires and replaced the plugs.. Only took me a couple hrs. So far car is running great no misfires, and startups are better..
