Looking for a boss

Greetings all,

A newbie here with a question.

I am using a Renesis engine in an aircraft and have designed a custom intake manifold, utilizing part of the original cast aluminum one.

I need to obtain injector bosses so that I can weld them into my outside intake tubes that will fit the renesis secondary injectors . (the primaries will be in the original locations.)

Does anybody have an Idea of where I can get these bosses that will capture the OEM injectors???, hopefully to allow me to feed them individually with an AN fitting. The ones that I have been able to find have "sockets" that are too large for the small O-rings used on the OEM injectors.

Thanks in advance,

Rich

It's more common than you think to put a rotary in a single engine airplane.

Contact Atkins Rotary ((253)-848-7776)as Dan has ventured into the aviation side as well.

If that does not work I would imagine you can have them machined at a local shop pretty easily.

That pretty cool, actually. After my contract with the infantry expires, I think I'm gonna switch over to aircraft mech. Lots of useful info, there!

+1 for Atkins, very reputable.

You can also try to contact Richard Sohn @ http://www.rotaryaviation.com/, his products are top shelf and I'm sure he can help you out.
