I wonder how much it costs for the 13B-REW swap. The concept is not piquing my interest however.

From this angle no, but other pics of this car have been floating around this forum. Personally, I like the Vertex kit.

The car is actually still silver (the white one is JIC in Japan) I just talked to one of our friends @ JIC to find out what the swap entailed and after he told me a little about it he finished the conversation w/ the fact that they want to keep it a secret from the public for a little longer as soon as he gives the OK I will post about it.

Thats pretty sad. Instead of figuring out the electronics they dropped in 10 year old technology to simplify things.

Sad, true. But using what works for their needs is their priority here, not keeping the RX-8 "pure".

Cmon, it's not like they dropped a small block Chevy in it. Or not even Mazda's V6. It's just the last generation RX engine. Something tells me they don't quite have a Mazdaspeed budget, especially with two other JIC drift cars in the stable.
