I don't know much about the other but I got the GReddy SP2 for just over $500 shipped (from a business selling them on Ebay). My first priority was to get rid of the puney tips of the stock, so I wet for the biggest ones available. Second priority was to do something about the quiet stock exhaust and the GReddy definately did that.

I had heard the GReddy was too loud for some people but IMO it's not annoyingly loud at all. It gives a decent more throaty sound and adds the little "pops" when the engine revs down. It doesn't drone in the cabin at all like my Eclipse did and the idle sounds great. You can definatley be heard it you want to, though.

Check the exhaust summary sticky at the top of this forum for a video clip of the GReddy and other exhausts.

As far as power goes, I don't think you'll feel anything from any cat-back system unless you get rid of the stock cat...

No matter which you go with, the actual gain will be minimal if at all. Just need to find which one sounds good to you.

there is a post on this page that has some sound clips and also check rx8web.com, there is a sticky there also with sound clips.

ive listened to the hymee, corksport, greddy sp2, borla and hks all in person, and chose the hymee. met my sound wants.

corksport is a bit louder, but choppy
greddy is about the same, but more rice
borla is a bit deeper, but not as loud
hks is cleaner, but didnt meet my expectations for price involved

hymee did what i wanted it to do, with a clean sound, but enough to make a difference when i wanted it to. install was a b*tch though

Get a highflow cat and cat back, you'll get some power out of that combo. If you can only do one or the other, get the highflow becuase that's where the power is.
