I had it on my car when I was turboed. It did work but unless you are a hardcore drag racer it really isn't necessary. On a track it is really not practical as you need to push the button for it to spray onto the IC. Not exactly easy to do while you are driving around a corner. The CO2 system makes more sense if that is all you are using it for, as it is much cheaper to fill than NO2 system (about a $1/lb. vs. $4/lb for NO2 and it is more readily available). But the NO2 would be interesting if you could setup a system that sprays into the intake, while at the same time sprays onto the IC.

Most of the EMS systems on the market can be set up to spray the intercooler when you are in boost or if some preset condition like intake temp is exceeded.
I'll probably try one of these out over the summer (got an offer at SEMA from the NX folks).

I never got that far into it. My system just came with the standard arming switch, and button to push when you wanted to spray the IC. I actually called DEI to see if they had something like that to spray automatically under boost or at WOT, but they said no.

Here is a picture of my system :

Later on I got a second smaller spray bar to cover more area on the IC (I was running two spray bars on my IC).

I'm not sure it could be this :

Timer Switch

Since I have had the unit they have added a few things onto this system.

Also this :

IC Water Spayer

These weren't items they had when I first got the unit.

BTW, if you interested in it, but don't want to drop a lot of $$$ I will sell you my unit for cheap. I'm no longer turboed.
