Has anyone tested this combo?

Just wondering if these plugs were installed by the dealer, and CZ Stage 1 was added afterward... what would the effects be?

 

Canzoomer has the Stage 2 prototype module installed in his car. It has all the features of Stage 1 plus timing changes. Still not -at- stage 2. About half way there. Telling you this just for reference. On thursday he had service done at Mazda (with the module in and on). Part of the service was installation of the hot plugs. Works fine. We also confirmed the dealer OBDII will find the module in there if it's on. It senses MAF errors.

Thought everyone should know. He has a good relationship with this dealer, so they were interrested as well about the module.

Can the dealer also detect Stage 1?

 

Yes. The MAF part is the same electronics. If you switch it off, it should be undetectible. Oh, BTW, he also had all the updates put into the PCM (with the box connected and turned on). So that isn't a problem.
