Hks Racing Suction Kit.......

Hey guys i've been doing a lot of research on intakes.....and have a lot of experience with them.......I love the way HKS Intakes look and i think im gonna buy the racing suction kit for my rx8........i see theres the K & N but that doesn't look that nice and seems to have some problmes..........my preivious car was an 02 acura rsx type-s with a tanabe super racing medallion cat back exhuast and an AEM cold air intake........i stripped the car to stock before i sold it and one of the most noticeable differences was having no intake.........everyone i drove past said that my intake was the loudest thing they have ever heard and i agree with them........now i want the hks to be nice and loud and power and also i do not want that rotary whine to be drained out by it...........i am also still decideng amongst exhuats systems......the battle is between the greddy sp and the racing beat.......now which would pair up niceer with teh racing suction kit.......?????????? and does either of those exhausts' sound ricey or drain out the nice rotary tone....?

I was kind've surprised on how many of the RX-8's over at Seven Stock had the HKS suction kit given that most people wre talking about the K&N & Rotary Extreme units and only recently has the HKS unit been mentioned. Looks like a nice piece, but like all of the HKS product it is $$$.

I would go for the racing beat exhaust over the Greddy but they are both nice.

I just install a HkS intake tonight, and take me almost 3 hours, but that is b/c i did not read the instrustion all the way. But i also have the HKS exhust system, and it sounds very nice and mean, is very lound, soud like these is a exhust system under the hood. At frist i tho my hks exhust is not lound enough for me, but now is very lound. HKS coast a little more, but u can't go wrong with a name brand, and u can all ways sell it if u don't like it, it's HKS people like that name and if u go to a car show u can pop the hood and show off.
