^ indeed.

at this point I would probably just say the dyno was wrong!

if you have a healthy motor and with those mods you should easily be pushing more... so just get it dyno'd elsewhere and feel good about it

wow i wish i was up in that range!
Just to clarify, I was running a MM map when I got the lower result. I flew Jeff in for a dyno day and he optimized my 8 with a custom map and that is what produced and incremental +11hp. In other words, it's not enough to just choose one of his available maps, especially if you are catless, you need to get a custom one. With that, you could easily jump to 190+.

i thought it would be in the 200 range and i was pretty sure too because i got similar mods, but no cobb ap or ignition solution and got 202 hp and 143 tq. i think maybe you should recheck your coils and sparks and give it another pull. or maybe the theres something wrong with the dyno...

if its not the dyno then maybe the car.

well what rpm was it when you produced 183 hp? could it have been cut off by any chance? gotta see the graph though.

I belive it maxed out at around 8500 Rpm range. i need to post up the graph..

I also have overlapped ghraphs with the 8 and the other civics.. but the RPm is only shown until 7K rpm =P

hahahahah

I mean the could are working properly i would assume i do not bog or anything.. only ting that happens around 6.5 RPm it jerked and bogged.. it threw a SSV valve stuck open code but i just drove the car hard one night flame after flame!!!!!! and it didnt come back but my top end felt a lot less strong.

I would love to get MM to get me a new map but hes EXTREMELY busy.. messaged him with me going out and hand writing the info he needed about ummmmmm since maybe the summer??? still waiting =]]

anyways i will try to upload the pictures and both graphs today

The reason i ask is when i had my car dyno'd and tuned i was having it cut out on me too in the high rpms then i took off the nology spark wires and put on mazsports wires and the problem was gone and was able to find 10 more rwhp

Yeah the car is running rich.. its normally 12's and occasionally 11.1

but mm said on different loads well see different AFR. its not running lean or anything i know that for a fact. i just datalogged and were trying to convert to excel so that MM can take a look at it.
