are silencers available for the exhaust?
or maybe put a resonator in the exhaust.

both will result in a loss of power tho, with the resonator losing more. neither will make you lose your flames.

u got noise tickets because u drove it hard.....therefore producing loud *** noise....i think its quite the same sound as any other aftermarket....the only place difference is in cabin is louder.....nothing to bother me though.......as to quiet it....switch back to stock...only way...cuz nobody wants gay silencers and putting a resonator is like putting stock back on

Well I hope to go turbo soon. I am smart with my rx8. At very low revs its a real deap loud sound which cops still jump on me. Is there anything I can get that is real cheap right now to put on the tips of my greddy exhaust for normal day driving. And can be taken off when I feel like pushing her to the max.

you either go back to the stock cat or add resonators to your catless mid pipe

i meant it in the performance kind of way.... not the sound .....adding to a race pipe defeats the purpose of a race pipe....if anything he should just get a supercat.

not true at all. look down a racepipe with a resonator. its completely straight. it just bumps out. it does not interrupt the flow inside.

the greddy sp2 tips are 4" or something. find 4" universal tip silencers. you might have to drill a hole into the bottom of the tip, but thats no biggie.

i love the silencers with the turboxs. the difference is full blown race car (not good for dd) and a nice growl for daily driving.

exactly. If you look up how a resonator works, it doesnt really impact performance. A high-flow cat will hinder flow... a resonator, not so much.

I would go with the tip silencers but the sp2 is oval not completely round. Think it would still work.
