Headers & ECU tune

have been searching & reading the forum about headers and am beginning to think there could be more to gain from well designed headers than has been previously thought . However , it could be that the ones getting the gains are also using piggyback ECU's and tuning for max. hp.

Hymee's engine dyno test showing 14hp at the crank (without cat. )

Rotormaster in Aus are claiming 9hp at the wheels with std cat in place . - not sure but as they also produce an ECU & i'm picking they get that gain with the ECU tune.

Racing beat say they are getting minimal gains from headers and they also claim minimal gains with ECU tune .
Maybe decent gains from headers are only got with an ECU tune in combination ?

I'm no expert - these are just my thoughts from what I read here on the forum .

I dont think you can tune our car with just Headers or ECU. I would just go FI. IE: SC Or Turb
