Greddy vs Hymee exhaust

Greddy vs Hymee exhaust
Alright guys, I've narrowed down my exhaust choices to the Greddy SP2 and the standard Hymee exhaust systems. They seem to sound ABOUT the same but I'm not exactly sure. The greddy is $570 and the Hymee is $525.
I was wondering 1, which one would prolly sound deeper, or at least not get kinda buzzy at high rpms.
And 2, the hymee "mild" steel, is that a big deal at all. I live in FL so we get a lot of rain, but not any snow. That means there are no road "additives" such as salt or stuff that really suins a car. I will be traveling to Jersey about 1 or 2 times a year but nothing enough to really affect it.
I've seen the mazdatrix Greddy vid, and I've heard the Hymee sound clips, you can only get so much from those though.

Yea I'd love to hear them both, of course I also view the FL forums and don't really see too much info about any LOCAL upcoming meets...
and cLLcLe where did you get your SP2 for $520 ? Right now I'm looking at mazdaparts.com and these prices are not the rx8club member prices.

check www.rx8store.net too for the exhaust. The only thing I did not like about the Greddy was the box is a bit too big for UPS do they sent it common carrier (ie 18 wheeler) and shipping was $80. I have heard of some places including shipping or repackaging the Greddy so it can be shipped via ups.

Call Titanmotorsports and see if they have the SP2. Plus they're local so you can p/u yourself. I was dealing with them when I was looking and i think their price was less than what you would pay + ship. Also, my Hymee came from mazdaparts.com (thew); If I can remember right I paid $525 and it included shipping.

Well the shipping at mazdaparts is only $27 for standard UPS for either system, so shipping isn't a big deal. the slight price descrepancies (sp?) aren't that big of a deal either. Mostly what I'm concerned with is the exhaust note.

Is there anyone on the site that heard both together and has an opinion? Listening to the audio clips does not really give a good side by side comparison.
And another suggestion if you guys get together with your exhausts. Why not record them one after the other in the same clip. That WILL be a good comparison.

UPS Shipped my GReddy SP2 in the Original GReddy Box. I got mine for $550 shipped from FL to TX. I dont remember the website I got it from, it was an Import Aftermarket Website though.

Hymee you can only get from Hymee direct or Madzaparts.com I believe. Did you check with Thew (mazdaparts) for the Hymee? He got mine to me in 3 days. Try Speed and truck world in Altamonte for the SP2.

Not sure how the Greddy is packed, but when we pack the Hymee exhausts you can get two in an RX-8 ... by folding the passenger seat right back as far as it can go and resting them on the folded seat. If you take some blankets you can probably also get the Greddy across the back seats (by resting the middle on the centre console).
Would love to hear the comparison if you can get it going.
RX8honey is right... you can get the Hymee exhaust direct from us or from thew at Mazdaparts.
Cheers
