I received it Monday and installed it that night.....I highly recommend it! I highly doubt you would have a hard time installing it yourself. If you get one read through the install guide on the forum, it will tell you what you need to do.
Makes drving a little bit more enjoyable for me. There is a slight increase in noise, but it hasn't bothered me yet.

Seriously, doing coilovers on this car is DIRT simple. And along with that $400 I'm sure you'd still have to pay for an alignment after the suspension settles so add another $100.

I think 1400 is a good deal for that, but you don't get much for that.
It's a very slight upgrade and you would be much better off going with Racing Beat.
Use their springs with Koni's or Tocico plus their sawy bars and your much better off that MS.
RB is a great company with integrity. You can ask 4 yrs to supercharge if you need more confidence from someone closer to you. He lives in Minnesota.
I would think twice before switching suspension as it will be a rougher ride no matter what kit you pick.

MAZDASPEED "Blue" Performance Accessories must be installed by a MAZDASPEED Dealer on a US specification vehicle and be specifically approved by Mazda for the particular application. These parts are covered under the Mazda Replacement Parts and Accessories Limited Warranty and are warranted for the first 12 months/12,000 miles from the date of installation or the duration of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, whichever is longer. Should the parts be purchased but not installed by a MAZDASPEED Dealer, they will be covered for the first 12-months/12,000 miles from the date of purchase, excluding labor charges. Parts or accessories replaced/installed under warranty, are covered for the time remaining in the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

Londons Yellow Peril
good thinking.
I highly reccommend the short shift tho.
Its cheap and an easy install ( I am nupty mechancially, but with DIY printout and some basic tools it was done in 1 hour) and is great feeling.
The noise is v slight mechincal whining, but basically non-existant as soon as you start driving, unless you actually listen for it.
PS What did you think of the MS flywheel? any feedback you would care to share?

If/when you get the short shift, get yourself a Mazdaspeed shiftknob to match your MS stuff. Feels better, and to me, lighter (throws). And it doesn't get hot when left in the sun. And it looks awesome to boot.

This means they must be installed by Mazda in order for them to be covered under the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. If some one else other than Mazda does it I only get 12-months/12,000 miles from the date of purchase. If they were a green level warranty part than I would definitely have you guys do it because with those it doesn't matter who installs them. Thanks allot for the offer though. Hey when you guys do Blue's suspension let me know, I would like to come by and check it out. Maybe you can help me with something else, I have the agency pulley to install, but I'm kind of nervous doing it myself would you like to help. I'll rather pay you than some mechanic around the way. If your interested let me know when. Warranty info bellow:

And really, I don't consider it payment. More like just friends hanging out and working on cars. When Mac helps with my car I always buy pizza or beer or something like that. Kind of a give and take. If you helped me, I'd do the same.
