Fuel Pressure Sensor Location
Quick question, just got the Aeromotive part from BHR and realized I don't have an adapter to get the nitrous line on the larger side opposite of the npt port. I believe it is -6 AN correct?
i'm about to get the 15120 fitting from aeromotiv, where do you guys put your guage? i dont have any guage yet inside the car...probably will do that but not now. i'll probably go with a mecanical guage but i dont know how i can see it from inside the cabin when rolling.
any suggestions?
any suggestions?
electric / digital gauge .. sender is mounted to the T connector with the quick connects/disconnects and the wiring plumbed through the existing firewall hole to a nicely mounted gauge... numerous options there... A pillar, defrost vent, upper center console, ashtray... hell I've even seen gauges where the cassette deck usually goes.
yeah, I have the Prosport electric fuel pressure sensor in the NPT side with the wiring cable run to the gauge inside and an AN plug on the other, Aeromotive provides an NPT plug with the fitting but not the AN plug
I guess it was too much trouble for a dense n00b to go to the Aeromotive site and see that it is a -6 fitting

ill go get another plug tomorrow and ill wait for my pod...
Also, i tought about using those to do the connections on existing wires :
is it ok? or should i weld and shrink wrap the connection?
Also 2 : where do you take your 12v? i tought about using the cigarette lighter

I would not use a splice like that, but that is just me. Do it right and splice it right. You can get power from the cigarette lighter or the room fuse using a add-a-fuse.
If you use the cigarette lighter it will be shut off when you crank the ignition...so gauges act kinda strange
I'm a crimp /solder and heat shrink kinda guy too...those connectors suck

Yeah the room fuse is ideal but you can also get power from the seat heater switch connectors (I don't have the heated seats so my connectors do not control anything) and some other places too.
