Fuel Pressure Sensor Location
Fuel Pressure Sensor Location
i need to install my fuel pressure sensor and i was curious where people have thiers located? i noticed the fuel like in some cheesy plastic and might be hard to put there.
I took a spare line, removed the red connector ends and put them in a piece of soft line with a "T" that had an NPT 1/4" female port on it from Ace and replaced the OE plastic line with that.
Aeromotive 15120 is all you need. It has quick disconnect on both ends, a female and male. 30 seconds to install, factory line remains intact and no clamps or extra crap hose. 1/8 npt port and AN06 port which I have closed off with plug that came with the part. 50-60 dollars well spent.

The left side goes on the OEM hard line and the right side goes into the OEM disconnect on the soft line.
Take the picture and rotate it 90° anti-clockwise and it should make sense.
Nice find.
Ebb posted that as I was typing, I was referring to the PTP part - deleted that post anyway because it no longer matters
thanks Ebb, still $53 but it's the perfect part
Yes on the warning
probably not for detonation depending on how severe it was and where you set the limit, which would need to be below the minimum pressure that the system might see during normal operation

it takes a lot of starvation to lean it out to the point it may detonate. I know----sigh.
Engine quits when there is a sudden loss of adequete pressure---remember all the fuel starvation issues on track--but those are without detonation---right?
This set up could sure help for track people and for tuners.
I cant put anymore gauges in----next thing you know I will have to have just a "dash" Is it Christmas yet?

Mine changes color at 55 psi, then flashes at 50 psi... so it's kinda like an idiot light. But at least when I see bright green or red out of the corner of my eye I come off the gas.
