Ford V-6

The Ford V-6 gets 220 HP in the 6, why not the RX8?

Ford couldn't figure out how to fit the 6 micro-gerbils in the rotary without adverse side effects. Something about spinning rotors of death and headless gerbils.

Putting pistons in the car would destroy the purpose of it, at least in my opinion.

I'm super-confused as to this topic..are you saying the RX should be piston powered? Or are you saying that you thought it had a Ford V6. If it had a V6 it would essentially be a MX6 replacement--and have a wierd front biased weight balance.

It's a NA 1.3L engine! What else do you want from a NA 1.3L engine?

Yeah yeah you can argue all you want that it's really a 2.6L because of the special nature of the rotary, but even in rotaries displacement matter. I don't need to tell anyone about the 2.0L 3 rotor engine.
