ECU too smart for REVi?
I'm VERY interested in the RB REVi but I'm starting to hear sporadic reports that people that have had it on for awhile are noticing that the car is going back to performance similar to what it was before the install. It's as if the ECU is learning and compensating for the changes. I hope it's not true but I would like to hear from the current REVi owners.
Now that ya'll have had it on for awhile, are the improvements still there? Has anything changed? Update us please!!

I've had mine on for over a month now - longer than most since I was one of the prototypers. :D Several hundred miles now, and definitely still notice a good improvement. I also have no idle issues or problems with it at all.

The same "phenomenon" has been experienced with intakes, and all other mods, on about every car in the world.
It's called "Getting Used to it". After a while you just don't notice the gains anymore because you forget how the car used to be. It feeds all our desire to get another mod so we can get that feeling again.

Its all in your head. I though my car was faster a ram air pipe. THen i took it off a week later and it felt better than with it. But i think its all in your head, you just make yourself thinks its faster, or slower

huh? .... the results of tuning are undeniable for those of us who have done it. It does have a real, measureable effect on improving A/F in open-loop. I don't know how anyone could come to this conclusion. The data supports exactly the opposite.
Back to the topic. I do wonder if the ECU is killing the gains I first felt from REVi. Not that I think the power is diminished. There's no way to measure long-term changes with a butt-dyno. But my LTFT is sitting at 3.9 now. I wonder if it will continue to creep up as the ECU continues to **** me off...
